Are children allowed to attend?

Answer

As much as we love seeing everyone’s children, this will be an adult only wedding.

What meals will be provided?

Answer

Dinner will be buffet style. Your choices of entrees are: Slow Smoked Beef Brisket, Herb Encrusted Roasted Chicken, Wild Mushroom and Asparagus Risotto (No Cheese). We will also have a variety of sides.

What colors should I avoid?

Answer

The wedding party and bride will be wearing black, burgundy, and gray.

Will there be A/C?

Answer

Our wedding will not have A/C since we will be in a beautiful barn. There will be fans, however dress accordingly.

Can we ask for shots?

Answer

Unfortunately this event space has a "no shot" policy. However, there will be a variety of drinks to enjoy.

Can I wear Heels?

Answer

YES!!!! We will be in a space with cement and wood flooring. So, don't worry about your heels sinking into grass, unless you choose to go on the grass.

Will there be transportation?

Answer

Yes!!! There will be transportation to and from the two hotels that we have blocked with. There is only one pick up time at each hotel prior to the ceremony. -AmericInn Petoskey Pickup is 4:00pm -Weathervane Pickup is 4:30 pm If you choose to book somewhere else there will be no transportation provided by us. End of the night time transportation is from 8:00pm-11:00pm

Do we need to stay at one of the designated hotels?

Answer

You do not have to stay at one of the suggested hotels. If you choose to look at different hotel options I would suggest you book extremely early since it’s possible to not find a quality hotel in the area.

Can I smoke inside the Barn?

Answer

No. Please go outside to the designated smoking area.
