When should I RSVP by?

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is parking available at both the ceremony and reception sites. For St. Bernard's, free parking is available in the main church parking lot that can be accessed from S. Broadway St. Additional free parking is available in the West Campus Parking Deck, which has entrances on both S. Broadway St. and S. High St. Metered parking is also available along W. State St. adjacent to the church and elsewhere in Downtown Akron. Meters are free after 6:00 p.m. on weekdays and all day on weekends. There is free parking available for guests in the lot surrounding the building at the Hilton.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We will be having an "unplugged" ceremony. We ask that our family and friends refrain from using phones or tablets to take photos or video during the ceremony and be present with us in the moment as we exchange vows and celebrate our marriage. We have a very talented photographer and videographer who will capture all the special moments from our day which we cannot wait to share with everyone!

We know you love your kids, and so do we! But we'd love to give you a night away. Adults only please!
