We met in 7th grade math class at Quail Valley Middle School. We ended up sitting at the same table, and the rest was history. Time went by as we grew our friendship, but we always held a special place for one another in our hearts. I would say that our love story began right there in that math class, however if you want to get more technical, we started dating in 2016.

Nathen told me that we were going to do a professional photoshoot in the mountains as a Christmas present for his Mom. Nathen set the whole thing up by himself, and even showed up to my house a few weeks prior with new clothes for me to choose from and wear to the photoshoot. He even had his sister invite me to get my nails done so that they would look good in the pictures. When the day came, all of my suspicions of a proposal fizzled away for many reasons. The first being that Nathen worked on his cars all morning. This behavior didn't scream to me "IM GOING TO PROPOSE". Not only that, but it started snowing heavily at our location so I asked Nathen if we were going to be able to make it, and he said "If not, it's no big deal. We will just re-schedule". This was when any hope of seeing a shiny ring on my left hand by the end of the day was lost. By God's grace we made it up to the spot safely, and causally played in the snow waiting for the photographers to arrive. Taking pictures was a blast. We were spinning, running, laughing, and almost falling the entire time. I was facing the other direction when Nathen got on one knee behind me. I turned ready to laugh at him because I thought he had slipped and fell in the snow, when I realized..... IT WAS HAPPENNING!!! My favorite person holding the most beautiful ring was on a knee asking ME to marry him. Easiest yes of my life, thus far. Come to find out, Nathen had even arranged for our families to be waiting for us in a cabin close by with food and cake to celebrate! I could not have asked for more. <3
