Question

So where is the wedding at, and how do we get there?

We will be meeting at Algonac Harbour Club where we will be giving boat rides to the weddings located on Lake Trotters Island.

How should I dress? What should I bring?

Answer

Comfortable, and casual! Keep in mind the ceremony will take place in the shade but will still be warm. After the ceremony we would love to celebrate with everyone by enjoying the day at the lake. So bring bathing suits, sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, etc. There is a cabin located on the island for you to put belongings, bags, and extra cloths inside if needed.

How long is the wedding? And will there be snacks/food?

Answer

We ask for everyone to arrive at the Harbor by 9:30am on July 11th. Once you arrive at the island their will be drinks/ snacks / brunch available for everyone. The ceremony will start at 12pm and expect the ceremony, pictures, father daughter dance, Mother son dance, and cake cutting to last until 2:30pm. After the cake cutting their will be a boat available to give those a ride back to shore. For those who wish to stay longer we will continue to celebrate until 7-8pm. And plan to eat dinner at 5:00pm.
