Passport Expiration?

Make sure to check your passport expiration date to confirm it is not within 6 months of the trip!

What can I expect to pay for at the resort?

Answer

Everyone will have Mahekal's all-inclusive package, so food & drink at the resort will be covered. The all-inclusive package does not include room service or tips.

Do I need to make dinner reservations at the resort?

Answer

Yes, we recommend it to ensure you won't have to wait, but reservations are not required.

COVID tests before we come home?

Answer

They are still required! The hotel will provide COVID tests that can be scheduled one day before departure with the front desk. Electronic results are then sent to show at the airport.

What is Mahekal's COVID policy?

Answer

The resort mandates masks for all staff, and asks that guests wear masks when entering restaurants or other enclosed spaces. There is hand sanitizer available at all public spaces, and masks are available if you happen to forget yours in your room.

What will the weather be like?

Playa del Carmen will likely have daytime temperatures of around 85° with high humidity and nighttime temperatures in the 70's.
