Question

What should I wear to the event?

Answer

Feel free to dress casual as we are getting married on a farm! We just ask that no jeans or shorts are worn.

Will the ceremony and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony will be outdoors! The reception will be in the barn, which is connected to the biergarten style patios. Please plan accordingly for September weather.

Question

Will there be transport to the wedding from the hotel?

Answer

No- there will ONLY be transport from Valley Run Farm to the hotel for the after party. If guests plan on using the transport service after the wedding, you may leave your car overnight at the venue. Or leave cars at the hotel and carpool to the wedding.

What time will transport be starting after the wedding?

Answer

Again- we will not have transport before the wedding. Only AFTER. The bus will arrive starting at 9:30 and will be able to shuttle for 3 hours. However, the reception is over at 10. The van seats 13, so after the reception is over, we will travel to the hotel in groups. Wedding party will travel last!

Are kids invited?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening.

What is parking like?

Answer

We will have free parking in the field. Cars are encouraged to stay parked overnight if too much alcohol is consumed.

Can I bring my own alcohol?

Answer

No need- we are having an open bar!
