Once upon a fateful "Seacrets Saturday” two people crossed paths at a tiki bar. Erica was getting ready to go home when her new brother in law, Noah, ran into an old friend. Noah introduced Erica to a character wearing a pink fanny pack...that character was Brent. Brent quickly noticed how beautiful and funny Erica was and quickly offered to buy her a drink. Erica decided that maybe it wasn't exactly her time to go home. After a few dirty bananas, green tea shots and Natty Lights, Brent had made up his mind that he had fallen in love in a hopeless place. The next day, text messages were sent and crazy enough, they hung out again. Brent knew it was love and told all of his friends he was going to marry the girl he met at Seacrets. While Brent had his mind made up, Erica did her homework and checked in with any mutual friends that they had to see if he was a "good guy". After less than a week, Brent agreed to venture down to Arlington, VA to take her on a "real first date". The sparks were flying. After 9 months of driving between Baltimore (the greatest city in America) and Arlington they got an apartment together in Bethesda. Somehow Erica was able to get Brent to move out of “the greatest city in America” and even convinced him to one day get a dog named "Joe Flacco Junior".
After living together for a few months, Brent knew it was time to propose. He spent months planning and going nuts over Covid regulations and restrictions. Finally, 42 hours before the proposal, he came up with a perfect plan to surprise Erica. Brent's best friend, Brad, helped him to plan a fake wine tasting at the Four Seasons. Once arriving at the hotel, they took the elevator up to the 11th floor with Brad and Brent, in almost matching outfits, and Cara filming as they walked into the hotel room. Brent asked Erica if she was "in or out?”. With tears in her eyes (that never happens), Erica obviously said she was in.The night ended with a celebration at Koopers with family, friends and many Tito’s and waters with 4 limes.
