Maid of Honor
Tay is my favorite acai bowl date, our family's all knowing sports queen, and the one who made our family complete. Some of my favorite memories with Tay include eating candy underneath our beds and singing and dancing in our living room as kids, playing volleyball in high school together, and drinking coffee at any coffee shop we can find. She is strong, independent, wholeheartedly devoted to the Lord, and is so many things that I aspire to be.
Bridesmaid
Practically my second sister and my best friend for as long as I can remember. Introvert little meg walked up to Kenz who was playing at the sand table in preschool and the rest is history. Only the Lord knew the friendship that would come from that simple moment between us and our families. Kenz always knows how to make me laugh and is one of the most fun, bold, and creative people I know. We have grown up together, spending carpool rides together, holidays and vacations and I am so thankful God gave me a friend who became my family.
Bridesmaid
The most unexpected friendship I have ever had. I thought by junior year of college, I had met all the friends I would need, but the Lord had other plans. Brooke and I officially met in Hicks cafeteria by the silverware. She quickly became the person I could turn to with anything and has loved me through the hardest and most joyous seasons. She is honest, thoughtful, and so wise. She has refined my character and has been championing Kyle and I since day 1. So much love for this girly.
Bridesmaid
My new sister! I always wished I would have had older siblings and now I do. I remember sitting in the Sweitzer living room with Kaylyn before Kyle and I were engaged and she boldly told me she wouldn't let Kyle break my heart. She told me that she was going to make sure I could stick around and be a part of their family forever. Kaylyn has been rooting for us and has loved me so well in the short time that I have known her. So thankful for the way she has welcomed me into the family and has been so encouraging from the beginning.
Best Man
One of my first interactions with Reese was asking him where he got all his maps (ask him about them sometime). He responded by saying “well they are certainly not yours.” Taken aback by such a harsh response I learned that was freshman Reese’s attempt at humor. Reese’s aptitude for storytelling, games, deep conversations, and his love for the Lord and those around him, all turned out to be my favorite qualities about him. Reese has kept me spiritually and physically grounded from doing shenanigans that may have caused me harm. Without Reese's friendship and accountability, I would not be standing at the altar. He has always been a supporter of Megan and me and folks, he is single.
Groomsman
Perhaps my first college friend, Josh and I got the chance to see each other grow closer to the Lord since freshman year. We have only grown closer since then whether battling through Dr. Stanton's political science classes together or powering through long days of orientation board. Josh is full of joy and has a remarkable spirit. His love for the Lord is evident towards all and he remains Megan and I's number one supporter. Some of my fondest memories of Josh were filming silly videos for the prestigious awards show, The Alphies, watching endless hours of football, him giving a brief message on scripture for my baptism, and many many many meals eaten together in the cafeteria.
Groomsman
Although we can't remember when we met, some of my fondest memories with Ethan involve biking to his house day after day to play Halo Reach, running amuck in Cascade Park, consuming an abnormal amount of Swensons, and pretending to be soldiers or spies. It seems like yesterday we were those carefree boys causing our mothers distress for being out too late or being too loud. Since then, Ethan has been a constant friend in my life and it is a little bit ironic that both Megan and I's childhood best friends are both ginger too.
Groomsman
Connor is the closest thing the Enyart girls have to a brother. He has grown up with practically three older sisters (and if we're being honest, I don't think he would change it for anything). I have watched Connor go through his chaotic karate and video-game filled days to dreaded early morning carpool rides to the hard-working, determined guy that he is today. He was so excited when I brought Kyle home for the first time and even more excited when we got engaged. When I picked Tay and Kenz to be in our bridal party, I knew it wouldn't be complete without him.
Flower Girl
Kyle's favorite and cutest niece! She is the newest addition to the Sweitzer family and has brought so much laughter and fun into our lives. She is fond of repeating anything said to her and loves CocoMelon. We are so excited to have her as our flower girl!
