Where we've had many picnics, including our first real date and where Zach proposed!
Where our first unofficial date was! They have board games to play while you enjoy your drink! FYI, parking can be tricky around that area; you can try to find street parking on Myrtle Street.
Old Town Fort Collins was one of the inspirations behind Main Street USA at Disneyland!
Our favorite brewery in Fort Collins is Zwei! Have a helles for us while you're there! Some others we like are Odell, Maxline, Stodgy, and Prost. Some good ones in Windsor are Peculier and High Hops (no one under 21 allowed). There are so many options, so look around!
There's hiking around the area, day use/ picnic areas, and rentals for water sports such as stand-up paddle boarding, kayaking, etc.
Lots of hiking right behind Horsetooth Reservoir. Arthur's Rock Trail provides beautiful views of Fort Collins from the top of the trail.
Beautiful mountain scenery and wildlife, only about an hour from the Fort Collins area! You might need a timed entry pass, so make sure to look into that. Check to see if Trail Ridge Road, which goes through the park, is open this time of year; it's the highest continuous paved road in the United States at over 12,000 feet. Even though it's a bit of a tourist trap, there's a cute little mountain town called Estes Park right outside RMNP. There are plenty of restaurants, souvenirs, and candy shops to explore.
