We met through the Merryman Matchmakers, Josh and Madison Merryman. At the time, Laura used to work with Madison at Meredith Corporation and Ben was a fraternity brother and friend of Josh. We were two unsuspecting singletons that were set up over text by a tipsy Josh Merryman at Laura and Madison's friends wedding. What was supposed to be dinner and drinks that coming weekend turned into a birthday bash for Ben called Elfapolozza (put on by some of his friends). This is where Laura got to finally spend some time with Ben, passing Das Boot at Hessen Haus with him and some of his amazing friends. The night ended with another date on the books ... and the rest is history.
