let's celebrate love

emmy and jesse crossed paths at ski club with mutual friends way back in the day. emmy told her family that "kiss jesse geiger" was on her bucket list because she thought he was sooooo cute.

Emmy invited her friends to come to a concert at Penn State. Jesse was also invited by a mutual friend to the same concert. We spent the whole show (MGMT, naturally) dancing and laughing together and bonded immediately.

We felt a destined connection from the beginning of our relationship. We knew that we could have an amazing life together if we worked hard.

We were long distance for almost 5 years while emmy was in school and jesse was working and living in erie. we spent MANY weekends together, bonding, going to shows, camping, traveling, and getting to know each other deeply.

in 2017, emmy moved from pittsburgh to erie to be with jesse. we loved living in our little treehouse on front street together and making our city our home. we grew up together here! we got our puppy Quigley and loved walks and hosting dinner parties.

we bought our home in 2019. we love being active members of our community and our families. it feels like the perfect time to be celebrating our union!
