This museum covers the history of West Virginia from the time of coal was being formed to present day. There’s an underground portion of the museum that you MUST try and it’s one of my most favorite things in my hometown. It’s also FREE
Located beneath an elevated roadway at the north end of Capitol Street, this rehabilitated former Kanawha and Michigan Railroad depot is one of Charleston's most appealing shops. It's offerings include beautifully displayed fresh produce, chocolate's, wine, flowers and cheeses.
Nice quaint street where many customer friendly stores welcome shoppers and browsers. Several street events throughout the year worth which is worth visiting. Great restaurants sprinkled around the area as well!
