Which airport should I fly into?
Answer
We highly recommend flying into either León/Bajío International Airport (BJX) or Querétaro (QRO). Both airports are about a one hour drive to San Miguel de Allende. Please see below for airport transportation recommendations.

How do I arrange transportation to and from the airport?

Is there Uber in San Miguel de Allende?
Answer
Yes! Getting around by foot is very easy, but there is also Uber as well as taxis available in the city. (Please note: San Miguel is known for its cobblestone streets and some incline streets, so you may want a quick ride!)

Should I get a rental car?
Answer
Unless you plan to explore any areas outside of San Miguel de Allende, there is really no need for a rental car in town as it is meant to be explored by foot! Ubers and taxis are readily available. Airport transfer services can also be arranged (see Transportation Q&A above).
