We’re getting married!!!

We went to my (EmmaLee) favorite restaurant under the guise of celebrating my mom and I's birthdays. Though, we were late due to our church service running late, and I couldn't figure out why my parents were panicking. We get there, we eat, and the entire time Michael has this goofy smile on his face. I didn't think anything of it until we did gifts. I opened the cards from both parents, and then Michael hands me a scroll. I stupidly skipped to the bottom where it said "All this to ask one simple question..." I then had to read the 4 paragraphs out loud, already knowing what was coming. Looking back, I don't think Michael would have been able to read the scroll himself, he was so nervous. The ring box lit up, and later I learned it was a Princess Leia (from Star Wars) inspired ring. His hands were shaking, my hands were shaking, and I honestly don't know how he got it on my finger.
