4 years ago, Michael and I were working together at BILO. He was a grocery stocker and I was a cashier. Michael took me home multiple times, and eventually we started hanging out through Rebekah. Our relationship started our senior year of High School, and leading to 4 years at North Greenville University and the Citadel. Through out the years, we have had many adventures and we are ready for so many more!

On October 30th, 2022, Michael rented a boat. We went around the River, and during the trip, Michael did a wardrobe change by putting on his black jacket, which I did not seem to think it was out of the ordinary because he stated how much "warmer" the jacket was. After a while, we anchored at the Stono River. We talked and hung out for a bit. After we were ready to go, Michael asked me to pull the anchor up. I looked back and he was playing with his pocket and quickly put his hand in his pocket. Then, he came up behind me and dropped the anchor back in the water. Then stated, it had to be dropped because of the boat shifting, sounds crazy now. Then once I got the anchor back up, Michael was down on one knee. He was so nervous, it was the sweetest thing! Then without a doubt, I said yes!
