A sangeet is a traditional Punjabi and North Indian prewedding ceremony involving festive dancing and celebratory songs. The Sangeet is described to be a welcome party for close family and friends. This is a time to kick off the wedding excitement! We encourage you to wear traditional Indian clothing, but formal Western clothing is also appropriate if you prefer it. We recommend wearing something that’s colorful and fun, yet comfortable as you dance the night away. *There will be A LOT of food, so please come hungry!*
