A favorite downtown OKC bar!
Want a photo by the huge OKC letters? Uber here for some great pics!
Another favorite bar, but not in walking distance.
From this 50-story venue, you can see miles across Oklahoma. Vast is in the Devon Tower which is connected to the Colcord by a hallway.
Want an immersive, funky art experience? Look no further.
This year is the 30th anniversary of the April 19, 1995 bombing of the Alfred P Murrah Federal Building that killed 168 people. The outdoor grounds are open 24 hours a day. The museum is open 9-5. It's worth a visit inside and/or outside to better understand this important story of OKC. You may like to know that every Thunder NBA player and staff member is required to tour the museum before starting their careers with the Thunder.
This museum is FREE! If you visit, you may enjoy trying a favorite restaurant across the street for lunch or dinner, Jimmy B's!
This was formerly a 21C property and it still has awesome contemporary art. If you are headed to The Jones Assembly, this is on the same block.
This outdoor park is just outside of the Colcord Hotel. Great place for some fresh air and a walk!
This new park opened during Covid. It's a place for outdoor concerts, a weekend seasonal farmers markets, and more. A great place to just hang out! The bar next door in the Omni is really pretty too. This is two blocks from The Colcord.
Fun bar in the lobby and cool bar downstairs called The Vault--only one block from The Colcord.
This will be the site of the 2028 Olympic Canoe Slalom! OKC will also host the softball event in the 2028 Summer Olympics. That stadium is further away, but if you are dying to visit the Softball Hall of Fame, it's 10 minutes from downtown.
Really into music? Steve Martin donated one of his rare banjos to the museum after he was inducted into the Banjo Hall of Fame in 2015.
If you need a bit of the Wild West, this is where the cowboys and cowgirls hang out.
