Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Eduardo Garcia Martinez and Emma Duncan
Downtown has many places you'll want to explore during your weekend visit. Here are a few to consider. More details will be given to you when you arrive to OKC.

The Jones Assembly

901 West Sheridan Avenue, Oklahoma City, OK 73106

A favorite downtown OKC bar!

Wheeler Ferris Wheel at Wheeler District

1701 South Western Avenue, Oklahoma City, OK 73109

Want a photo by the huge OKC letters? Uber here for some great pics!

Palo Santo

1203 Southwest 2nd Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73108

Another favorite bar, but not in walking distance.

Vast

333 West Sheridan Avenue, Oklahoma City, OK 73102

From this 50-story venue, you can see miles across Oklahoma. Vast is in the Devon Tower which is connected to the Colcord by a hallway.

Factory Obscura: Mix-Tape

25 Northwest 9th Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73102

Want an immersive, funky art experience? Look no further.

Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum--a must see

620 North Harvey Avenue, Oklahoma City, OK 73102

This year is the 30th anniversary of the April 19, 1995 bombing of the Alfred P Murrah Federal Building that killed 168 people. The outdoor grounds are open 24 hours a day. The museum is open 9-5. It's worth a visit inside and/or outside to better understand this important story of OKC. You may like to know that every Thunder NBA player and staff member is required to tour the museum before starting their careers with the Thunder.

Oklahoma Contemporary Arts Center

11 Northwest 11th Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73103

This museum is FREE! If you visit, you may enjoy trying a favorite restaurant across the street for lunch or dinner, Jimmy B's!

Fordson Hotel - The Unbound Collection by Hyatt

900 West Main Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73106

This was formerly a 21C property and it still has awesome contemporary art. If you are headed to The Jones Assembly, this is on the same block.

Myriad Botanical Gardens

301 West Reno Avenue, Oklahoma City, OK 73102

This outdoor park is just outside of the Colcord Hotel. Great place for some fresh air and a walk!

Scissortail Park

801 South Robinson Avenue, Oklahoma City, OK 73109

This new park opened during Covid. It's a place for outdoor concerts, a weekend seasonal farmers markets, and more. A great place to just hang out! The bar next door in the Omni is really pretty too. This is two blocks from The Colcord.

The National--bars, restaurant, hotel

120 North Robinson Avenue, Oklahoma City, OK 73102

Fun bar in the lobby and cool bar downstairs called The Vault--only one block from The Colcord.

Boathouse District

Oklahoma City, OK 73129

This will be the site of the 2028 Olympic Canoe Slalom! OKC will also host the softball event in the 2028 Summer Olympics. That stadium is further away, but if you are dying to visit the Softball Hall of Fame, it's 10 minutes from downtown.

American Banjo Museum

9 East Sheridan Avenue, Oklahoma City, OK 73104

Really into music? Steve Martin donated one of his rare banjos to the museum after he was inducted into the Banjo Hall of Fame in 2015.

Stockyards City Main Street

2401 Exchange Avenue, Oklahoma City, OK 73108

If you need a bit of the Wild West, this is where the cowboys and cowgirls hang out.
