Emma and Drew met on the first day of high school in Mrs. Young's Mixed Choir class. Emma was seated in front of Drew (before parts were divvied up... obviously Sopranos don't normally sit in front of Tenors). Who would have guessed that TWELVE years later they'd be getting married!

Drew and Emma made it through law school! To celebrate, they had planned a trip to Maui. Drew had, unbeknownst to Emma, reserved a table at their favourite restaurant in North Maui, for a very special occasion. As they arrived at the restaurant, the skies opened up, and rain poured down. The clouds parted just in time for sunset (and secretly, the photographer had arrived). After letting Emma have one bite of dessert--Drew had read that people often lost their appetite out of excitement when they were proposed to--Drew lead Emma down to a cliff overlooking Kapalua Bay. Photographers jumped out of the bushes just as Drew kneeled to propose. Emma was overwhelmed. After a few rounds of "Seriously?!" the moment had truly sunk in, and she of course said "yes!"

Due to the danger posed by the virus to our friends and family, we are postponing the big ceremony and reception until October 23, 2021. However, we will still be getting married on the original date we set. We want to celebrate properly with you when this is all over. Dancing. Drinking. Merry Making. The whole shebang we all deserve. The ceremony in 2021 will be a convalidation at the Catholic Church, followed by the originally planned reception. We're so excited to see you next year!
