You'd think this story starts with Drew and Emma, but really it all starts with me! One sunny spring day, I was delivering seed to a farmer. He thought I'd make the perfect life partner for Mr. Jensen. I said, "Bazinga I'm already married, but I do have an available older sister." So, after an hour of swapping pictures and fond memories of the soon-to-be couple, I left and called Emma. I said, "I have a boyfriend for you!" She scoffed, asked his name, and crept him on Facebook. After looking at all 8 (45) pictures Drew had, I told her I'd heard he's the kind of guy who would drop everything to help someone in need. We moved on to chatting about other things. A week went by, and Drew showed up at Wibur Ellis to pick up some seed. This was my chance to vet him in person, so after a few awkward questions and a good once-over he left, and I texted Emma. I had to get his phone number from someone, so I enlisted the help of my co-worker, Chad. He excitedly agreed that the two would be a perfect match! He texted Drew, "I have a new girlfriend for ya." Drew agreed to give it a shot, so I sent him Emma's number and said, "she's looking forward to hearing from you." Drew sent a text and awaited Emma's response. Emma was waiting to hear from him, but never got a text from Drew, only to realize it was sent the week prior. In a panic, Emma asked me what she should do or say. For sure, he would think she is crazy for never responding. I reassured her that all would be fine and to explain what happened and apologize. I was right! After about a month of texting and flirting, Emma was fed up that Drew hadn't asked her on a date, yet! I said, "you could ask him too." Emma was much too stubborn to agree to that, so I once again came to the rescue. I took Emma's phone and asked Drew for a date. He agreed. They talked and had a lovely date at Great Shots. Every day they grew more fond of each other and created a loving relationship until Drew decided to propose! That brings us to where we are today, and I'm so glad I didn't have to propose for them too!
