Question

Will dinner be served?

Answer

Yes! Katie Powers will be fixing a feast with fresh ingredients sourced from local farmer's markets! Plenty of vegetarian options so that everyone will be able to enjoy!

Question

How far is the venue from neighboring cities?

Answer

TRAFFIC ADVICE- As the ceremony is taking place on a Saturday in a popular area for weekend warriors and sight seeing, please leave some extra time (around 30 extra minutes if you can) to get there. The traffic across bridges can be heavy and there is a tunnel (Baker-Berry Tunnel) just before you get to the venue that only allows traffic in one direction at a time at five minute intervals. This can cause a bottleneck and delays. The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:30. Google Maps will generally give a fair expected travel time up to the minute but here are some typical travel times from around the Bay- From San Francisco- The Headlands Center is approximately 40 minutes to an hour from the center of the city. From Sausalito (town center)- About 15-25 minutes From Oakland- About 1.5 hours

Question

How should we get there?

Answer

To get the venue we would recommend either taking an Uber, Taxi, or driving yourself. There will be parking on site but please don't drive if you intend on drinking throughout the evening! Just plan accordingly and be safe!

Question

Can we bring children to the wedding?

Answer

We love families! However, we kindly ask that any children under the age of 10 not be in attendance for the ceremony. They are more than welcome to join for the rest of the festivities, including the reception dinner and dancing. We love a cute kid breaking it down on the dance floor! We appreciate your understanding and hope to see you there! Please contact us directly if you have any questions.

Question

What should we wear?

Answer

We've compiled a Pinterest Board for suggested attire, should you want some inspiration regarding color palette and vibe. One might call it "summer formal (chic)." But don't worry, you can't be overdressed! Link to board- https://pin.it/7l89qit

Question

What's the weather like?

Answer

Summers in the Bay Area are generally temperate. In Marin it will fluctuate between mid 50's (10's) and high 70's (20's). No need to worry about any crazy humidity or high temperatures as we'd bet on it being somewhere around 68 and partially cloudy. But let's all pray for a clear sky day!!!
