Emma and I met in John 15, an org at St Mary’s Catholic Center. The time Emma claims we met, I have no memory of, but when I tell the story we met playing on the John 15 intramural softball team. When we first got introduced, it wasn’t a magical moment, it was simple and easy. As the semester continued and we became closer friends, I realized Emma was different than other girls, she was what I desired in a girlfriend. After that, it didn’t take long for my feelings of friendship to develop into romantic feelings. Emma's Answer: I met Aidan in the spring of 2021 when he was a freshman and I was a sophomore at a John 15 kickball community event that he does not remember - lol probably because he was too focused on his dog that he brought to college, Bandit, who had just destroyed the kickball we were playing with. I remember talking for a bit, but not exchanging names or anything. After this unexciting first encounter, our lives started to intersect in a couple ways. We were both on a John 15 softball intramural team, and that’s where we really became friends. I owe a huge thank you to whoever put us next to each other in that line up - haha! (probably Matthew or Adrian). Right away, I was attracted to Aidan and remember going home that night and telling Kayla about him. Additionally, we got to know each other through the meetings leading up to the Frassati Adventure Trip, which is a Colorado hiking trip that St. Mary’s puts on based on the life of Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati. Eventually, I started inviting him to my many game nights!!
