Question

What time should we arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 6PM, but feel free to arrive no more than 15 minutes early for a champagne toast. Please note that there can be traffic at this time of day and to plan accordingly.

What’s the dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal. Guests can feel free to wear summer suits and cocktail-style attire. We ask that guests refrain from jeans or whites/shades of white when planning their outfits.

Inside or Outside?

Answer

The ceremony will take place outside, next to the lake. Cocktail hour will be held inside afterwards, but you’ll have the opportunity to flow inside and out throughout the night.

Are children permitted?

Answer

Children are not permitted at the ceremony or the cocktail hour/reception. It is our hope that parents will take the evening as an opportunity for a date night out!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

While we wish we could accommodate everyone, our guest list is finalized and we don’t have room for extra plus ones. If a plus one has been extended to you, their name will be listed on your invitation. Thank you for understanding and we look forward to celebrating with you!

Open bar?

Answer

Of course! Enjoy the open bar at both the cocktail hour and the reception. Non-alcoholic beverages can be ordered as well.

How do I get from the hotel to the venue?

Answer

We’ve chartered a Lakeland Bus to take guests staying at the Courtyard Marriott to the venue and back at the end of the night. We determined the size of this bus based on number of room block reservations. The bus will leave the hotel at 5:15 PM and will return from the venue at around 11:30 PM. Note that Ubers/Lyfts are not as reliable here, so please plan your day-of travel accordingly.
