We're getting married!

This is actually the second wedding we're planning -- the first was going to be in May, but we cancelled it for safety. But vaccine performance is looking strong, so now August is on the table, and we'd love to emerge from the Covid cave and celebrate with you all! We want to make sure this is a safe celebration for everybody who attends, so we will be keeping an eye on the vaccine roll-out and state regulations. Fingers crossed!

I (Kevin) don't remember exactly when Emily said, sitting on the bed, "I'm a yes." I only know that I thought she was referring to my suggestion of where to eat later that week. But that was the true proposal answer: knowing that both of us wanted the same shared future. The rest was just me agonizing over the ring and where to formally propose, and the bench above in Bloedel Reserve did just fine. (Emily: "It did great!")
