We met for the first time on the dating app BLK. Emily swiped right first then, a few moments later it was a match! We started texting immediately and then made plans to talk later that night. We talked for hours about everything under the sun. It was during the height of covid restrictions so our first date was in a nearly empty Mexican restaurant in Brooklyn. We then walked to Prospect Park where Rich set up a romantic dessert picnic surrounded by fireflies. It was magical.

I love Christmas. It was Christmas eve when I was up late wrapping gifts. Rich emerged from the bedroom with both hands full. He put them under the tree and said "All these are for you". He took the smallest gift and put it in the top of our tree. He told me I had to wait till New Year's Day to open it. I accepted the challenge! We snuggled up then 30 minutes later he said "I can't wait". I RAN to the tree. While peeling back the ornate wrapping, he listed the reasons he loves us. Then told me he chose me to be his last love and asked me to marry him. I squealed. It's my dream ring. I said yes. We are so excited to celebrate with our FAVORITE PEOPLE!!
