We're getting married!

Although we have always been excited about celebrating our marriage with our friends and family, we also want to make sure that everyone we love is safe. Our in-person ceremony is limited to our close family and bridal party, but we would love for you to join us for the ceremony on Zoom and a toast after we officially tie the knot! In addition to our virtual celebration, we also plan to celebrate with you in-person soon! Stay tuned for updates about an in-person reception, which we will host as soon as it is safe to do so.

In 2014, we had a lot in common. We had both recently moved back to Philly, both of us were teaching, and both of us ended up at the same small group meeting in West Philly. Our connection could have started there, but, according to Pete, "You can't date girls you meet at church." Fast forward to 2018: Emily had moved to West Philly and become a permanent member of that same church, Pete had moved to Michigan for law school and was back in Philly for his final semester. With a little help from a dating app algorithm, we reconnected and realized that we already knew each other in real life. And the rest is history!
