Nathan and Emily met each other at a graduation party of a mutual friend in the summer of 2011 after Nathan had graduated high school. Emily was only a sophomore at the time but they had a great conversation the first day they met which spanned for hours at the party. Over the course of the next 6 years, Nathan and Emily would stay in touch over the phone and through various social media apps. We never saw each other in person again- though not for a lack of trying. At long last, Nathan and Emily met up for dinner in August of 2017. It felt like we picked up where that first conversation left off and have been at each other's sides ever since. When we walk down the aisle it will be 10 years from the time we first met at that graduation party.
The proposal was not a surprise to Emily! Or so she thought. We had talked about getting married for some time. She knew the day he was going to propose, and even signed for her ring when it was delivered in the mail. Nathan took Emily on a tour of places that were special to the two of us. While Nathan popped the question, he had arranged for photos to be taken directly after. The biggest surprise for Emily was when the pair got home. many of our friends and family were waiting for us. It was an incredible day to celebrate our future together with those we love and care about. The following we went to the Packer Game and Nathan made a brief appearance on the TV broadcast of that Packer Win! Emily, Famously, was nowhere to be seen. https://www.cbs58.com/news/couple-planned-on-announcing-engagement-on-jumbo-tron-except-one-was-in-the-bathroom?fbclid=IwAR1CQy6hNWoVwDRSHyZO2PVR_KXcivd05Zg7LKf4CAWEN8yAT7LLLyXo-QU
