Wedding Party

Paige Baraban-Phillips

Matron of Honor

Paige is more than just a cousin to the bride; she's like an older sister. From making a list of preferred baby names for Emily's mother to choose from, to being Emily's #1 babysitter and years later roomie, Paige has been a part of every major decision in the brides life. Don't forget to look closely, you'll see Paige's picture featuring the lovely flower girls Billie and Maisie. :)

Lizzy Meinzenbach

Bridesmaid

From Dean & Deluca to Cosentino's and then in our hearts, Liz has played a pivotal role in the lives of both the groom and bride. And if we're talking favorites, Emily beats Luke without hesitation. This day wouldn't be complete without Liz by our sides!

Laurel Blubaugh

Bridesmaid

Not only does she have the most contagious laugh and caring spirit, but she's also the bride's favorite pool hang. From sunny pool days to impulsive trips to Sam's Club, Laurel makes hanging out with the Blubaugh boys even more fun! Emily is so excited to have Laurel as a sister-in-law.

Jessie Gittemeier

Bridesmaid

Jessie is one of the bride's oldest friends. They first met over bowls of puppy chow and have since matured into sophisticated foodies. Emily and Jessie have attended countless concerts, fancy dinners, and bookshops together. The bride knows she can count on Jessie for anything, whether it's planning a bachelorette party in NYC or hosting spontaneous NYE house parties. Jessie is truly Emily's ride or die!

Erik Blubaugh

Best Man

Erik is more than just Luke's best man - he's the world's best brother. They've know each other for most of their lives. From Parsons to K-State and now just a hop, skip, and scooter ride away, they have been lucky enough to remain close. Erik has always been a stable voice of guidance and the best big brother.

Jared Krause

Groomsman

The groom met Jared in the dorms at K-State, and from there, their relationship blossomed into Luke's longest to date. Their relationship progressed from stealing mattresses and climbing random buildings at K-State to couch naps and ice mask facials in Kansas City. This bountiful relationship came to a bittersweet end with a party that featured koozies celebrating "9 years / 2 hearts / 1 home." Fast forward one year later, and these heartbroken buddies were back living together again. In recent years, Luke was fortunate enough to officiate Jared's wedding and looks forward to the many years of friendship ahead.

Derek Spresser

Groomsman

Derek has been a longtime friend of Luke's. Derek lived on the same dorm room floor as Luke, unbeknownst to him until Luke walked into his room wearing only his wrestling singlet in an attempt to make a new friend. After their chance meeting, the two could often be seen wrestling and cooking together. In recent years, Luke has even attempted to recreate Moe's tater tot casserole, Derek's wife, with little success. These two are the best of buds and have had many adventures together, including ice fishing, cliff diving, perfecting dance-offs, and trading dad jokes.

Bradley Kesler

Groomsman

Not only is Brad the bride's brother, but he is also a close friend of Luke's. They first met at Dean & Deluca, where their initial interaction involved Bradley asking Luke for a raise on his first day. It was Brad's unshakeable confidence that allowed him to pull Luke into the walk-in cooler a few years later and confront him about dating his sister. The groom quickly realized that Brad wasn't upset that he was dating his sister, but rather that he was afraid of losing a good friend. Little did they both realize that five years later, they would become brothers.

Matt Richardson

Groomsman

Luke and Matt met sitting next to each other in their high school Geometry class, where Matt was 82% of the reason Luke passed. They spent their high school years stealing street signs, as well as working at Jock’s Nitch, the local sporting goods store in Parsons. One summer, they even braved a flood to operate a firework stand. These travel enthusiasts continued to bond over road trips, traversing thousands of miles through national parks, attending concerts, and sleeping in their car. Matt is one of the groom's oldest friends and knows they'll always be "thick as thieves".
