Back when Liz was working at the Barnes Foundation in Philadelphia, Emily attended one of their Young Professionals events. She entered the court, and was immediately struck by one of the staff members - it was Liz. Their eyes met from across the room, and from there it’s all history…. Just kidding, we met on Hinge 🤗 Thank goodness for modern online dating because for as many times as we should have crossed paths, it took a random algorithm for us to meet.

On Memorial Day, we were hosting our first cookout in our shared home, and following a nail-biting round of cornhole, Liz popped the question. Three months later, while taking engagement pictures at Swarthmore College, Emily surprised Liz with a proposal of her own. I mean, what girl doesn’t want a ring?!
