Flight
If you're flying, you can fly into Knoxville, Charlotte, or the Asheville Regional Airport, depending on where you're coming from. Either way, plan to rent a car. Drive time from the Knoxville airport is one and a half hours, or from the Charlotte airport is two and a half hours. The Asheville airport is only one hour away, but might be harder to get a flight into since it's so small.
Travel Note
**Be sure to book well in advance!** Fall is peak season in the Blue Ridge Mountains and lodging options will book early. We encourage our guests to get a vacation rental for the weekend (especially in groups). Get your mountain weekend getaway on! There are also plenty of accommodations in the town of Hot Springs, ranging from hiker hostel to bed & breakfast to boutique spa (see link). You might even consider staying in Asheville and making the drive - it's only 45 minutes.
