Josh and I met online February of 2020 and our first date was at Top Golf. When we arrived, we had about a 15 to 20 min wait. We just moved to an open table, talked and had an appetizer. The wait grew longer so we checked to see what was the delay and they told us they needed to find an open section. Josh told me these kind of things happened to him all the time. Not bad things, just little inconveniences. I didn't mind (I also didn't believe him) because we were having fun. I now know what he meant 3 years later about these little things still happen to us. I wouldn't have any other way.

The night we got engaged was a complete surprise to me. We met with our friends Dave and Nicole like we did many Friday nights for our "Friday Night Dinner Club". My best friend Gabby asked if her and her boyfriend could join us for dinner a few days earlier. I didn't think it was odd because they had joined us before. We met that night at Gordo's Tacos on Mt. Washington. It looked like there was going to be a bad storm the whole dinner, and everyone's phone was going off with severe weather warnings After dinner was over it looked like the storm held off, and like any good yinzer we headed to the overlook (it was my idea!). As soon as we got there we took a picture and the next thing I knew Josh was on his knee and asked me to marry him! I was super excited and take by surprise, of course I said YES! A rainbow appeared and Josh had a photographer hidden to capture the entire proposal! It was one of the best nights of my life!!!
