Technically speaking, we first met at Boston College Freshman orientation in June of 2015. Whether it was fate or luck of the draw, we were placed in the same small group. Call it corny, but during the opening remarks of orientation the speaker said "the odds are good that your future spouse is in this room," and he was right. Though our interactions were limited, it left enough of an impression for Emily to remember Joe 10 months later when our paths crossed again. Joe didn't remember Emily, but we'll give him a pass for that one. When our paths crossed for the third time in September of 2016, it finally stuck. We've essentially been inseparable ever since. Over the years, we've had the privilege of exploring much of the world together visiting 8 countries. From hiking the Grand Canyon, cliff jumping in Croatia, exploring Oktoberfest in Munich, and snorkeling in Hawaii we've fostered a sense of adventure. Since graduating college, we've made our home together in New York City and have loved embracing everything the city has to offer. In June of 2023, Joe popped the question on a stunning overlook on the Block Island bluffs. It was one of the happiest days of our lives, and we celebrated with margaritas and Mudslides at The Oar. We've grown up and grown together in the past 7 years, and we cannot wait to celebrate our marriage with all of our loved ones! See you in September!
