Emily had come to town (Manhattan, KS) to hang with her sister and brother-in-law for a weekend and go tailgating with them for K-State Football. Jerry had learned that Emily was in town so he decided to join them all for dinner the night before. They hung out all night and at the tailgate the next day. That night Jerry had talked his friends into bringing him back in to town to hang out some more with Emily. Started talking and haven't stopped and the rest is history.
