What is the dress code for the occasion?

Answer

We suggest dressy casual. It will be April in Florida, and while we expect the weather to cooperate, it could be warm during the day and chilly once the sun goes down. The ceremony and reception will be outdoors, so women may want to reconsider heels.

Are children welcome?

Answer

Yes! We will have childcare available during the ceremony and reception (after dinner). If you think you'd like to utilize that offering, please let us know so we can plan accordingly. If you'd like to have your child with you for the ceremony and/or reception, that is also OK. We plan to have a child-friendly food option for kids who don't want what the adults are having during dinner.

Can I Uber back to Tallahassee from the event?

Answer

It is probable that you can Uber from Tallahassee or Thomasville to the event, but it is very unlikely you'll be able to Uber back from Monticello. We've hired a bus service to shuttle guests to and from the wedding to the hotel listed in the accommodations section. The bus holds 38 people, so don't worry - there should be room for you regardless of when you want to depart. The shuttle schedule will be posted closer to the event, but expect at least three trips throughout the night. We want everyone to be able to stay and have a great time at the reception and also get home safely!

What is the Shuttle Schedule?

Astro Travel Services will be making the 30 minute trip to and from the wedding venue in Monticello. Please take advantage of this service as our guests. Look for the Astro Bus in the parking lot. The schedule is as follows: First Run - departs Drury at 1:30 Main Run - departs Drury Inn at 4:00 p.m. to bring our guests in time for the 5:00 p.m. ceremony Early Bird Run - leaving the reception to return to the Drury ~8:00-8:30 Last Call Run - leaving the reception to return to the Drury ~10:30. The party is over!
