There's so much to do on the resort property that there's no need to venture far. Shop at the Pier Road Shops in the Historic District; dine at Eighty Ocean Kitchen & Bar, The Pantry, The Pool House, Grand Dining Room; have a cocktail at the historic Clubhouse Bar; golf, tennis, history and eco tours, croquet, horseback riding, beach, pools, bike, etc.
Guests of the resort are free to use the amenities of the Ocean Club; hot tub, fire pit, pool (if weather permits).
Rent a red bug to tour the island for the weekend! The cutest little cart we ever did see! ***Make a reservation well in advance, as we were told they sell out quickly!
Jekyll Island is a cyclist's paradise with 20 miles of paved bike paths, winding through forests, beaches, riverfront, and the historic district. Jekyll Wheels has everything you need to get out and explore. Choose from beach cruisers, tandems, kids’ bikes, mountain bikes and more. Jekyll Wheels also offers on-site bike racks as well as tune-ups, adjustments, and some retail. Be sure to grab a Resort Map to make the most of your ride.
Seafood restaurant within walking distance from the cottage and club hotel. Live music Wednesday through Saturday, 6-9 p.m. and awesome views!
