We’re Getting Married

We met while working together at QVC in San Antonio. Emily was assisting with her first training class, and as fate would have it Dante' having just moved to Texas a few weeks earlier from California was a new hire in that same training class. It was not love at first sight , in fact when we first met she thought he was rude.. lol Fast forward to a couple of months later, and after the training class was over Dante' looked Emily up on Facebook and began liking and complimenting her pictures. While at first, she thought it was odd since he wasn't very talkative to her while they were working together she did take notice of his kind comments. He took the initiative to send a direct message to her inbox saying "We should talk" to which she replied "about what?" trying to be silly. It was then in November of 2016 that they started texting and meeting up in the morning as Emily ended her night shift and Dante' started his morning shift. Their first official date was in Downtown San Antonio walking and looking at Christmas lights. They ended up at the Hard Rock Cafe and a small dive bar after dinner to listen to some live music and shoot a few games of pool. They ended the date not remembering which parking garage the car was in. They had to wander around for another hour or so trying to find something that looked familiar the whole time Dante' saying "I Got You." Eventually, Emily remembered the parking ticket was in her purse with the address so they could use GPS to get back. All in all a fun and great first date with some funny memories made. That was November 19th, 2016 and they have been together ever since. Through job changes, a move to Austin, then back to San Antonio, and travels all across the country, even to Mexico they have grown together over the last 6 years, and everyday Dante' continues to prove those words "I Got You" Now after 2 years of being engaged they have set a date for September in Las Vegas to become husband and wife and can't wait to celebrate with family and friends.
