Emily and Daniel met in January 2017 on their first day of work at Loureiro Engineering Associates. After a welcome meeting with Human Resources and a few lunches, they were fast friends. When Em left Loureiro for a new opportunity, Dan’s productivity skyrocketed, but he couldn’t stop thinking of her. They started dating shortly after and the adventures continue!

On February 4, 2022, Emily and Daniel drove to New Hampshire for a birthday get-away… in the middle of a blizzard. Dan was determined to brave the storm since, unbeknownst to Em, this was the weekend he was going propose! After a night without power, the following day gave way to clear, blue-bird skies with freezing temperatures. Perfect for a quiet snowshoe hike up Eagle Mountain in Jackson, NH. At the top, Dan was desperate to find a good view and Em, oblivious to what was happening, thought he was just exploring. Once the perfect view was found, Dan set-up a self-timing photo while Em stood in frame with the beautiful winter scenery. When Dan joined her he quickly dropped to one knee and Em thought he had tripped. Dan asked her to make him the happiest man on earth, and she said “YES!” We are so excited to celebrate our love with our friends and family!
