For those of you who don't know how our story began, Connor and I started dating during my sophomore year and his junior year at Illinois State University. We met on Friday, September 5th, 2014. Sorority recruitment had just ended for me a few days earlier, and a bunch of my friends and I went to Connor's fraternity. This quickly led to us seeing each other almost everyday. Two weeks later on September 20th, we were officially dating. Connor and I have been lucky enough to watch each other grow throughout our twenties. We've been by each other's sides as we turned twenty-one, graduated college, began our careers, became a CPA (Connor), earned a Master's degree (Emily), moved in together, and adopted our dog, Nala. Quite frankly, we became adults together. We have supported each other through some of our toughest times, and cheered each other on at our happiest. Our story has been ten years in the making, but we are just getting started!
