We both work for Mungo Homes. CJ is a builder and I work in office, for the Purchasing Department. One day CJ was in the office after his production meeting and he was telling me about protein bars he eats every morning with his coffee from QT. I had forgotten the name of those protein bars and sent him a text message an hour or so later saying "what is the name of the protein bars you eat again?" He answered "Met Rx cookies and cream" and the Cookie Monster GIF. Later on, he started asking me work related questions, which then led to a date. We went through a drive thru safari park in Wellford SC, called Hollywild. We took Moose with us and fed animals and drove thru their park. It was so much fun! We pretty much were inseparable since.

My mom, dad, CJ and I booked a lakefront lake house in Badin Lake, North Carolina for my birthday weekend. On my birthdate, July 17, we were going out to dinner in the town. Before we left for dinner, CJ said "let's take a picture on the dock" which wasn't to my surprise at all since we hadn't taken any pictures. My mom walked down with us to take our picture and CJ pulled the ring out of his pocket and my mom photographed the entire thing. When he was down on his knee, my dad had been walking down to the dock as well to take a picture with my mom. It was super special they were their to witness that moment, too. They also had no idea! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Bedford!
