Passenger Ferry and Tram Information

The Bald Head Passenger Ferry costs $23 a person round-trip. We ask that you reserve online as the tickets sell out fast. The Ferry terminal Deep Point Marina is in Southport, NC. This Ferry is NOT the Ferry that goes from Fort Fisher to Southport. You can park your car at the Ferry terminal for $12 a day. Please follow the link for more information, including the Ferry schedule. The Ferry departs from Deep Point Marina on the hour and the Bald Head Island Ferry Terminal on the half hour. The latest Ferry departure back to Southport on May 18th is 11:30 pm. If you plan to stay on the island, a tram can take you to your rental house once the Ferry drops you off. We recommend that you reserve the tram online ahead of the date. If you plan to stay off-island, please let us know and we can arrange for someone in the wedding party to take you to to the ceremony from the Ferry terminal once you are dropped off.
