Matron of Honor
My Seeeester! This girl has been my built in best friend since she was born and gave me someone to play dress up with. We have now walked through so many seasons of life together and learned how to love each other well in the good and the bad. I can trust that she will always stand by my side, do my make up (Because I don't know how) and be honest with me. Hannah has always been big little sister, in the fact that she has gone before me in so many ways, fashion, make up, marriage. And even though she is the little sister, I know I can always come to her for advice and ask her for help. And even if I get a sassy response, I have always known that she would show up for me. She would be my matron of honor even if she wasn't my sister, because she is my best friend.
Best Man
As his older brother, I have known Mason since the day he was born. While we may not have looked alike for a while (which is certainly not the case anymore), we have always had very similar personalities, interests, and hobbies, including band, math, lacrosse, Legos, Star Wars, and more. We've had more than our fair share of scuffles (sometimes literally), but we've always loved each other through all of them. Some of my best memories have been with Mason, from traveling all over the west coast for lacrosse tournaments to being roommates during COVID to building massive Lego Star Wars battles (even if we did have more fights about Legos than anything). Mason is the best little brother, and I am so honored to have him by my side on my wedding day.
Bridesmaid
The big sister I prayed for. 7 Years ago Sephorah asked me and Hannah to be her bridesmaids. She was marrying our big brother and we were so excited to get a big sister. She didn't know us well, but she asked us to stand with her that day. And that day we made the promise to love each other through the easy and the hard. But the truth is, even though it was only 7 years ago, I can't remember life without her being my big sister. She has been faithful to love me through hard times, she has been gentle in sharing wisdom and guidance and she has been the big sister that I always wanted as a kid. She is the best.
Best Man
Will and I have been best friends since undergrad at Oregon State. I first met him my sophomore/his freshman year, when we met up to talk about band stuff, but it quickly devolved into excited discussions about various superheroes. Over time and through various adventures, we began to talk about deeper topics and grew to trust each other more, pushing each other to walking closer to Jesus in our lives. When I have hit lows and even rock bottom, Will encouraged me to turn to the Lord and keep pursuing Him, even when it seemed hopeless. When I met Emily, he was the first person I told. And even though we now live 2,614 miles apart, Will is still one of the people I love and trust most, as we have continued to love and support each other through the ups and downs, triumphs and failures, anything life throws at us. Will is the best.
Bridesmaid
Jenna! My twin! My younger brother made the best decision in marrying Jenna a few years ago. But that is not where this started. It started in a Chick-fil-a that they were both working in and rutger would come home and tell me about this girl Jenna who was just like me, and therefore he found her very annoying. Jenna has many sisters, and I am grateful to get to be one of them. She is kind, funny, generous and I can't wait to have her standing with me. She also is tik tok famous so you should look her up and follow her.

Alex is what you get when you mix equal amounts of chaos and loyalty. While we had met my freshman year at Oregon State, we didn't become as close friends for about another 4 years when we started doing bi-weekly video calls during COVID (right before he got a concussion tubing). Through those calls, we grew deeper in our faiths, sharing what struggles were on our hearts and pushing the other to trust in the love of the Father when we felt weak and powerless. While we have had to dial back the frequency of those calls (due to a 3-hour time difference and the increased business of life), we still make the time to catch-up, share memes, and push each other towards the Father. Alex is certainly one of the most unforgettable friends I have.

The newest sister!!! Marrying Brian has its perks, one of them being that I get to be a big sister to Sydney! We first met when Brian and I were dating and she got stranded in ATL. We took her to dinner and then we had our first sleep over. I can't imagine not having Sydney stand by my side on our big day. She is funny, outgoing, smart, witty and she is all in. I am so lucky to be gaining a sister like her.

Micah and I basically grew up together. As cousins, our families were very close, spending all major holidays together and having various other sleepovers, pool days, and trips. We have many wonderful memories, from Legos to go carting to annual music performances. While we may not see each other as much now, he is still like a brother to me, and I'm so happy he will be standing with me on the big day.
Bridesmaid
My COCO!!! This is a friendship unlike any other. Caroline and I met through a friend and we were both the big sisters in the group. We connected immediately. In an instant, I knew caroline and I were going to be friends forever. That even though we lived five hours away, we would make the choice to see each other and be intentional with each other. We have survived many chaotic adventures sourced from our little sisters (who are also besties) and we've grown in an understanding of what steady friendship means. I love her and I am so lucky to have her with me. She will talk me off any stress ledge I find myself on hahah!

I met Seth at my current church, Christ Covenant, when a group of friends decided to watch the Batchelor together. While I wasn't able to make all the hangouts, I still was there enough to get to know Seth and how much we had in common. Now, he and I are in a bible study focused on biblical manhood. Seth is such a compassionate, loving guy, and I am so glad to have him in this time of learning what it means to be man who honors the Lord and loves and leads Emily well.

Trishy!! One of my oldest and wisest friends. We met playing golf against each other in 7th grade and then we ended up at the same tiny school in 8th grade. We have been friends ever since. Trisha has always been faithful to push me back to the Lord. To ask hard questions that bring me to a better understanding of the Lord's love and purpose for my life. And sure, did we both say we were going to join a convent and become nuns? Yes. Has she been married for 7+ years and have two sweet children. Also yes. And now as I prepare to get married to the love of my life, I know I have trisha cheering me on. As she has been doing since we were 13 years old. Friendship like this is rare. But I am so grateful to have her with me, through it all!

As the oldest of 3 kids, I never had an older sibling growing up, always the big brother. But Ethan, like the rest of the Bergquist family, welcomed me in with open arms, and I got to experience having a big brother of my own. Ethan is such a wonderful, loving, compassionate friend, and he is a great example of a good, godly man and faithful husband, son, and brother to his family. In just the short time I have known him, I have already learned so much, and I am so grateful that I get to spend a lifetime looking up to, learning from, and doing life with him.

Kristen started off as my employer. I came to nanny for her many years ago. I was hesitant to take the job, as I wasnt sure I wanted another babysitting family. But I am so glad I decided to give this family a try. Not only, is she the mother to 3 kids whom I adore and who are also our flower girls and ring bearer. But when I started working for this family I found in kristen a true friend. She encouraged me, empowered me, sat with me through tears, celebrated with me in triumphs. She challenged me to get out of my comfort zone and try new things (ie Bobby's cooking). She helped me to find comfort in the steady love in christ, that his love wasn't based on my every action. She has been a friend who has loved me through so much and when I think about who I want standing with me, it was her. Because she has stood with me through it all.

Rutger was the last of the Bergquist siblings I met, and I have no idea what it was, but we hit it off immediately. I'm pretty sure he loves me more than he does his own sister (and not just because he tells me that repeatedly). Rutger has always been a fun and honest (even brutally at times) guy, but watching him step into the role of father for his beautiful baby boy Rutger has been so inspiring. He has really jumped into the role well, and he is such a kind, patient, loving father. I cannot wait to be his son's uncle - er, I mean, his brother.
Bridesmaid
Regan and I met at an Auburn tailgate back in 2021. But that is not where we really became friends. We got along and seemed to enjoy each other but besides that there wasn't a super deep friendship. This all changed the Summer we went to Peru. We had been friends, so when we found out we were sharing a room it was a relief because atleast we knew each other. What we found in sharing a room was connection, laughter, authenticity and a friendship that was being built on solid ground. After that, Regan and I became much closer friends and eventually we built out this amazing friend group (Fellowship of The Mugs). She has been a listening ear and faithful friend. From game nights, to Wednesday night hangs, to working through feelings, I have known Regan would be there. She has watched Brian and I fall in love from a front row seat, and we do have her and Courtney to thank for this entire thing.

Adam was the first Bergquist boy I met, even if I met him before he was officially in the family. He is as amusing as he is smart, always down for something fun and a fellow engineer. But even more than either of those, he is a man after God's heart. It has been wonderful to see him love the Bergquist family like his own and been a wonderful example for me to do the same. Now, I am following in his footsteps marrying into the Bergquist family (and making sure someone eats all of Ms. Sandra's Oreos). He has made me feel welcomed from day one, and I cannot wait to call him my brother!
Bridesmaid
Courtney Eagle!! Our friendship is a classic christ covenant friendship, where you can't really pinpoint its start, but over time you found yourself connecting and intersecting until you both had created a normal routine of being in each others lives. Courtney is a steady, faithful, quiet spirit. She has sat at dinner or in the living room so patiently as I processed out life, and how I processed out what I was feeling for Brian. She gave good advice and she cheered us on as we fell in love. We got to know each other mostly in Brannon Hill. The place where Brian and I fell in love with each other is the same place where I found one of my best friends. And now as we three serve together, I am constantly reminded of the Lord's goodness to Brian and myself to have a friend like Courtney in our corner.

Davis is unique among my friends for three main reasons. First, he loves Star Wars (almost) as much as I do. Second, he makes me feel short (which is hard to do since I'm 6'2"). But third, he is one of the most friendly, compassionate, and kind people I have met. Whenever you talk to him, he makes you feel heard, understood, and safe, and it has been such a honor to serve the Lord along side him at church and in the community. You really see the love of the Lord through who he is and how he acts. Plus, he is always down for some fun with lightsabers.
