The Wedding Website of Bob Bernhart and Emily Cain
There are plenty of hotel options for our out-of-town guests. We've reserved a room block as seen below, but feel free to stay anywhere that calls out to you!

Travel Note

Tampa International Airport (TPA)

This is the largest airport in the area and will likely have the most flight options for our out-of-town guests. The airport is 10-15 minutes from downtown Tampa and about 30 minutes from our wedding venue, located in Dover (east of Tampa).

Hotel

Brandon Hotel Room Block

This hotel is a great option for those looking for a convenient place to stay near our venue east of Tampa. We've reserved a block of rooms here (Friday through Monday, but just book the nights you need), and they'll keep the hotel bar open after the reception as long as some of our guests use it. However, this location is not ideal if you're wanting to stay by the water or be within walking distance of restaurants and bars (though it is near several major highways and other attractions). CLICK THE "VIEW" BUTTON BELOW TO RESERVE IN OUR ROOM BLOCK AT THE $149/NIGHT GROUP RATE. If you're looking to make a trip out of your visit to Florida and want to see all that Tampa Bay has to offer, we suggest taking a look at some of our other recommended hotels below.

Hotel

Hotel Haya

1412 East 7th Avenue
Tampa, FL 33605
 (813) 568-1200

Hotel Haya is located in the super cool historic area of Tampa called Ybor City (ee-boar). Ybor is the reason Tampa is known as "Cigar City". This is a more upscale hotel close to lots of bars and restaurants. Ybor City has lots of clubs and cigar bars, so it can get loud at night. If Hotel Haya is too expensive but you still want to stay in Ybor City, try one of the other two hotels there (Hilton Garden Inn and Hampton Inn).

House Or Rental

Gram’s Place Bed and Hostel

3109 North Ola Avenue
Tampa, FL 33603
 (813) 221-0596

We haven't stayed here ourselves, but we ride by it frequently. It's a really unique place in a very convenient location for exploring Tampa, and may be a lower-cost option. It's in a residential neighborhood but quick Uber or bike ride to most of Tampa's attractions. It's a hostel but looks like they offer private rooms as well.

Hotel

Aloft Tampa Downtown

100 West Kennedy Boulevard
Tampa, FL 33602
 (813) 898-8000

This hotel is right in downtown Tampa; it would be great for exploring the riverwalk and a bunch of other neighborhoods (Ybor City, Tampa Heights, Hyde Park). Drinks are allowed while you're walking on the riverwalk, and you can take it all the way up to Armature Works for more restaurants and bars. Amalie Arena (where the Lightning Play) and the Convention Center are also nearby.

Hotel

Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa

5223 Orient Road
Tampa, FL 33610
 (866) 388-4263

Giant casino and hotel complex at the eastern edge of Tampa; fairly convenient to the wedding venue and obviously could be a lot of fun if it's your kind of thing! It's near several major highways too, so easy to get around if you have a car.

House Or Rental

Airbnb/VRBO

There should be some solid Airbnb/VRBO options nearby. A few fun neighborhoods and areas (in terms of proximity to restaurants, attractions, history, etc.): Tampa Heights, Seminole Heights (where we live), Ybor City, Hyde Park, Downtown St. Petersburg (much farther from venue but it's awesome), Dunedin, Tarpon Springs.

For all the days along the way
