Please click the RSVP tab here on our wedding website. You can search for your name and any other names associated with your invitation.
Please RSVP by June 14th at the latest.
Your invitation will clearly indicate any plus ones by name (or your invitation will say "and guest") If their name (or "guest") is not written on your invitation envelope/doesn't appear in the RSVP drop-down, then unfortunately they are not invited.
If your children are invited, your invitation will clearly indicate that and their names will be available in the RSVP drop-down. We will not be having any children under the age of 6.
If your plans change please let us know right away so we can adjust our headcount with catering and the bar. You can text Emily at 719-487-5711
We have a room block at the Comfort Suites Golden West on Evergreen Parkway. Please call the hotel and mention the "Jacobs-Ballentine group" to reserve a room. You can see more information about this by going to the "lodging/travel" page on this website.
We will be providing a shuttle to take you to and from the wedding venue. The shuttle will pick up and drop off from the hotel ONLY. If you are staying elsewhere, you can either drive to the hotel to get the shuttle or you can drive yourself to the venue. Please note, you CANNOT rely on uber/lyft/taxi, etc. The only options to get to and from the venue are taking the provided shuttle or driving yourself. Please let us know when you RSVP if you are planning to take the shuttle so we can ensure we have room for everyone.
3673 Chicago Creek Rd, Idaho Springs, CO 80452. There is plenty of parking at the venue. Vehicles cannot be left overnight. Please drink responsibly and delegate a designated driver for your group.
The ceremony will start at 4:30pm. Guests are welcome to arrive at the venue starting at 4pm.
The ceremony will be outdoors. The reception will be in a large tent. Colorado weather can change rapidly and it's not uncommon for it to be in the 80's during the day and drop down to the low 60's in the evening so we would advise bringing a cardigan or shawl.
Formal/semi-formal Men: suit, neutral colored button down, ties. Women: floor-length gown, fancy cocktail dress, or dressy pantsuit. If you're unsure, please lean more formal. We want to see you dressed in your best! No jeans, shorts, or tennis shoes. I have put together a Pinterest board if you would like ideas on what to wear. https://pin.it/2Ob0HcKtu
Yes. We will have a variety of hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour and a full dinner will be served.
Please indicate any dietary restrictions when you RSVP so that our caterer can prepare a meal suitable for you.
Yes, we will have an open bar serving beer, wine, champagne, and 1 specialty cocktail. The open bar will begin after the ceremony. We will not be serving any hard liquor aside from the specialty cocktail. Please bring your ID as the bar staff will be checking IDs. The venue has an extremely strict no-outside alcohol policy. Please do not bring any outside alcohol into the venue, this could result in you being asked to leave by venue security. The venue also strictly enforces the legal drinking age of 21. Please respect this and do not share drinks with anyone under the age of 21.
The ceremony starts at 4:30pm. After the ceremony, the bar will open and cocktail hour will begin with passed hors d'oeuvres. Following cocktail hour we will begin dinner. We will wrap up dinner with speeches and first dances and then the floor will be open for dancing and mingling the rest of the evening until 11pm.
We ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. This will help our professional photographer and videographer get the shots they need without phones in the way and for our guests to be fully present as we take our vows. We will happily share the professional photos with everyone. After the ceremony, you are of course free to take whatever photos and videos you like :)
