Alex Schwank

Man of Honor

Emma and I met in college, lived together for 3 years, and shared a dog, our 3 legged beagle named Sadie. My absolute favorite stories with Emma involve my absolute favorite day with her! I flew into Tel Aviv to visit Emma back in 2016 and one of the first places she took me was the beach. What made the day amazing is how content we both were just chilling with our toes in the sand, drinking Goldstar, and snacking on hummus for hours on end. Sounds cheesy, but we were feeling so glad just to spend a moment with each other and people watch. When I look back at this day, it reminded me as to why Emma is literally the best: she always knows how to make a moment, special. ❤️

Molly Massiello

Maid of Honor

Emily and I first met when I was born, and her first opinion of me was “I don’t want a baby like that one”—and now here I am 25 years later as her MOH. She’s my best friend and favorite person to FaceTime while she’s at work and any other not FaceTime appropriate situation. I am so excited for her and Emma to start this journey together— because now I have two sisters to annoy the hell out of (with love ❤️).

Sean Siwiecki

Best Man

Emma and I met our Freshman year of high school and became fast friends thanks to a nearly identical class schedule. Over the next 4 years, our friendship blossomed as we bonded over plaid shirts, crushes on the same girl, and a not-so-mild obsession with trashy reality tv. Even though our paths diverged when she left for FSU, we have stayed close. I am extremely excited for Emma & Emily to begin the next chapter of their life together and cannot wait to celebrate their Wedding Day with them!

Mary Carter

Matron of Honor

Since Emily and I are cousins born 11 months apart, we've known each other almost our whole lives, and it’s hard to pick one favorite memory with her. My favorite times were always the summers we spent growing up together both in Ohio and NYC. There are so many memories that I will cherish forever. One that always makes me laugh is when I pushed her in a box of pillows at Sam’s Club and she got stuck and ripped the whole box when I tried to pull her out. As punishment, we had to hold on to opposite sides of the cart the rest of the trip (we were teenagers).

Deena Harari

Bridesmaid

Getting off the long flight to Tel Aviv, my first thought was "sh%t, when is the next flight back to the USA". As a woman with a history of bad roommate experiences, I was gaining anxiety by the minute with the anticipation of who my roommate was going to be. It was then in that moment Emma walked over and said the magical words "are you a village girl?" Yes, I replied shyly. Emma took the floor seat next to me, we began to share small talk chit chat, which led to laughing, sharing stories and expressing our hopes for our year in Israel. From that moment on Emma and I became inseparable. Over our year together as roommates Emma and I became sisters. Emma has brought so much joy in my life from our friendship to her sassy advice to go on that "second date" with my now husband.

Ana Massiello

Bridesmaid

As the oldest Massiello cousin, I've known Emily for her whole 29 years. Both of us were in the throes of graduate school at the same time, Emily in Pittsburgh, and myself in Akron. Emily would need some family time to get through the long days studying, and I would drive to pick her up and bring her back to Cleveland. During those hours we would chat and sing songs the whole way home, just the two of us. Those times are some of my favorite memories together.

Mikah Atkind

Bridesmaid

Emma and I met when we started the first year of our master’s program in Jerusalem in 2016. If I had to watch the 2016 election results come in from the other side of the world, there’s no better situation than with Emma, pizza, and wine in the middle of the night.

Vicki Capote

Bridesmaid

Emily and I met in our first year of high school, and were fast friends. A story from the middle of our friendship: it was a cold January night, and Emily had just turned 21. We decided to kick things off with two bottles of wine and Indian food at that wild spot on Avenue A, followed by two texas sized strawberry daiquiri's from BBQ's in the East Village, and for dessert headed to the upper east side so we could end the night at a seemingly very cool cigar bar with decent whiskey and jazz. The soundtrack to our night was Pyramid by Frank Ocean on repeat and the sounds of the 6 train. I don't remember much after the cigar bar, but damn, what a way to enter "adulthood"!

Lindsay Kutash

Bridesmaid

Emma and I are cousins, so we’ve known each other our whole lives. But my strongest memory is Emma absolutely owning me in Super Smash brothers whenever I’d come to visit in Tampa.

Catherine Massiello

Bridesmaid

Emily and I have been cousins for almost 27 years! Some of my favorite memories are from visiting her and Emma in Cali: touring haunted wineries and ghost golf were second only to the wine, cheese, and laughs shared every night in that apartment together.
