The park sits on the former fairground of the 1982 World's Fair and is home to the Sunsphere and the Tennessee Ampitheater.
Since the 1860's, Market Square has been one of Knoxville's most popular places to shop, work, play, eat, drink, and live. Market Square is home to live music, outdoor movies, Shakespeare on the Square and much more. This kid and pet friendly area is an ever-changing anchor for markets, festivals, and fun. The Square featerures two water play fountains and is adjacent to the scenic Krutch Park. Hop on a free trolley and check it out!
Craft Axe Throwing – Knoxville is a game that anyone can play (and win). Score points by throwing axes at a giant dartboard-like target. The closer you get to the bullseye, the more points earned. They conduct casual and competitive axe throwing events for social, corporate, and league groups
