This colorful college town has something for everyone, including some of our favorite shops like Home Green Home and Ithaca Beer Company. Head just northwest of town to Taughannock Falls: at 215 feet, it’s the largest single-drop waterfall east of the Rocky Mountains.
The Outlet at MacKenzie-Childs
MacKenzie-Childs is a must-see! Just a two-minute drive north of Inns of Aurora, MacKenzie-Childs studio and shop are a site to behold. Spend time strolling the gardens and take a Farmhouse tour.
Heart & Hands Wine Company
A six-minute drive north from Aurora, NY brings you to artisan inspired and award winning wines. This is just one of many great wineries in the area. Feel free to explore this one or many more.
Long Point State Park
Located on Cayuga Lake's eastern shore, in the heart of Finger Lakes wine country, Long Point State Park is the perfect place to enjoy a day on the water. The park has a number of amenities, including a boat launch, a large playground, a sandy beach, hiking trails, and a picnic area.
