It was a lucky day when I decided to stay after one Friday evening at the office to have drinks and pretend I could play video games with the funny and handsome engineer. We bonded quickly over a range of things, from electronic music to our drive to succeed professionally. And though it can be complicated starting something with a coworker, I left that night intrigued. I don't really believe in fate but soon after that, a friend of a friend was looking for a roommate and I decided to take her up on it. And what would you know, of all the apartment buildings in San Francisco, this one happened to be the same one that Henry lived in. This could have ended things before they even started but luckily Henry was craving a glass of white wine - the only time that has ever happened - and soon the rest was history! Once our little bundle of joy, Macaroni, came along, we really started to be a family. We moved out of San Francisco to the East Bay to give her the backyard she deserves and continued to build our life together.

I have convinced the woman I love to marry me. I view this as an unmitigated success, and have nothing further to say about the matter.
