WHAT WILL THE WEATHER BE LIKE?
Answer
Welcome to Northern Michigan, where you can have multiple seasons in one day. In August the average high is 80 degrees and the average low is 60 degrees. While we are hoping for the best it may get a little chilly, especially at night. Please bring layers!

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Answer
The dress code is cocktail attire. The ceremony and reception are at the farm surrounded by gardens and farm buildings. The farm is minutes from Lake Michigan so the wedding party will be dressed in blue ties and dresses inspired by the lake! We are going for fancy modern elements and rustic vintage elements. Consider suits and dresses that fit the bill for cocktail attire but are on the summery and casual side! Additionally, the grass is slightly uneven so consider at least a block heel for walking and dancing with ease!

IS THE WEDDING INDOORS OR OUTDOORS?

Our reception will be tented.

MAY I BRING A DATE?
Answer
If your invitation says “and Guest,” or a date is named on your invitation, then yes, if not, we unfortunately cannot accommodate a plus one.

ARE KIDS WELCOME?
Answer
Please make our wedding a date night! Due to limited capacity, we hope you appreciate that children are only invited if named.

WILL WE BE ABLE TO BOOK AN UBER OR LYFT?
Answer
Ridesharing is not readily available in Northern Michigan, so we highly recommend renting a car or pre-booking a taxi service from the airport if you are flying.

WHERE SHOULD I PARK?
Answer
There is plenty of free parking at the entrance of the farm!

WHAT IF I KNOW I CANNOT MAKE IT?
Answer
We will miss you and sad you will not be able to make it! If you know you are unable to make the day we encourage you to please reach out to our wedding planner, Kelsey ( kelsey@foxandfernevents.com ) and she will be able to make those adjustments as needed.
