Zak and Emalee’s story is one of high school sweethearts. They met their sophomore year of high school in band class, and after months of flirting, they began dating in the summer of 2014. It didn’t take long for either of them to realize they had something special. Over time, growing up only made them grow closer together. Finally, on December 3, 2021, Zak made their forever official. Walking by Lake Minnetonka on their way to dinner, Zak got down on one knee and proposed! It was the easiest “yes” Emalee could have imagined and a perfect evening celebrating what their future would be!
