Maid of Honor
Brianna and I have known each other since we were 12 years old. The two of us were the coaches' daughters and captains of our team. We shared many wins and a fair share of losses. Before each game we would always do our pregame routine and say "shake & bake". The two of us were offered to go to the same college to further our soccer careers. We were hesitant but agreed we weren't going alone. In April of 2012, we came out to Gunnison for a campus tour at Western. We left with mixed feelings about the team AND the town. In Fall 2012, Brianna and I packed our bags and were roommates at Western. Honestly, without each other we couldn't have made it through freshman year. From every drunken night to every foul on the soccer field, she always had my back. She has a heart of fire and gold!
Best Man
Before our friendship began it started as a rivalry as opponents on the soccer field. I remember him scoring a last minute goal against my team to win the game… I was furious. Once I put that game behind me and was ready for the new season the following year, I remember seeing him walking around on campus. I thought to myself, this guy did not actually transfer to our school. We clashed heads so much that year I’ll never forget it, I wanted to kick his A$$! However, after realizing how much we had in common, we finally saw eye to eye and instantly became good friends. Throughout the years our friendship has grown so much. He has been that friend that has always been there for me and has helped me grow as a person. I feel so honored to have Pablo be my best man!
Bridesmaid
I can't believe that I've known her since she was only 8 years old. When Danny and I first met, Julie was just a little girl. Watching her grow up through the years has been an honor. She has such a good heart and has always helped her mom and grandma with things. Her ambition to become a nurse is very admirable and we are rooting for her. Julie is amazing inside and out and I'm lucky to call her my niece although she's more like a younger sister to me.
Groomsman
Erick and I were destined to be friends before we were even conceived. Our moms were close friends who used to ride the bus to and from their jobs together. I was born September 1994 and a year later Erick was born. We grew up together, we practically grew up as brothers. There’s not one birthday party I don’t remember running around without Erick. It’s no surprise that we are still best friends to this day! I love this guy to death.

Even before I was born, Krysti was super protective of me! I'm her little sister and if you mess with me, you mess with her. Growing up, we were very close especially through my middle school and high school years. We played basketball together for a couple of years and everyone thought we were twins. She has been there for me through the thick and the thin. If it was in her control, Krysti would be at every graduation, every soccer game, every hospital visit, every important event. She has been so supportive of me. We have shared so many memories and even forgiven each other for being total mean girls! Sharing clothes and shoes had it's advantages but also was disastrous in fights. There's so much to write about my sister but ultimately, thank you and I love you.

Emilio has always been a great friend. I remember him inviting me out countless nights to play soccer. Of course I said yes every time. It slowly evolved to regular hangouts. We were at the gym, eating, and going to play soccer. I would always invite Emilio over to our house if we had any family parties or events and he was always down to hangout. To this day Emilio has been a close friend. Regardless of time of day, he’s always ready to respond with a funny GIF when I bug him. Emilio has always been there whether it’s to chat or simply hop online and play some video games. It’s such an honor to have Emilio be a part of my wedding party. Friends as honest and respectful like Emilio are nearly impossible to find but I’m truly happy to know he’s one of my great friends
Bridesmaid
Stephanie is my Colorado adventure partner! We met in graduate school and became good friends in such a short period of time. I have so many great memories with her and Jade dog in the outdoors! My first backpacking trip was with them. We have done some cool hikes, gone to fun concerts, partied hard, and traveled far for the views. The one thing that distinguishes Stephanie from most is how straight up she is with everyone! I love it. No bull$hit. No matter where Stephanie has moved in Colorado, we have made it work to plan trips and hangout. I appreciate all the time we spend together because we always pick up where we left off and genuinely talk about life and ALL the chisme as we like to say! She is a lifelong friend.
Groomsman
I’ll never forget when I met Jesus. I had just pulled into the driveway of 624 McDonald Road in Leavenworth Kansas, when this guy with a mohawk offered to help me unload all my stuff. I remember getting to know all the other transfer soccer players who were ready to crush it the next day at practice. Jesus was quiet at first but as the school year went along and soccer kicked off he slowly opened up. I will never forget our nightly Burger King runs for a Double Whopper with cheese! No words explain how awesome Jesus is, he is the most humble, genuine, and honest person I have ever met. From the start he was willing to help and give a hand. To this day I know I can always count on Jesus to be there when I need him the most, I know I can just let him take the wheel… he never steers me wrong.

Courtnee and I met at Western my sophomore year and her freshman year. She was a center midfielder and Exercise and Sport Science major. We shared classes together and became closer throughout the year but we became a lot closer the following year. We went to Western sporting events together, partied together and simply hung out. There are so many good college memories I have with her on and off the field. We were so close that she brought me home to Albuquerque for Thanksgiving when I couldn't go home. Her family made me feel so welcomed I made it to Albuquerque two consecutive years after for the International Balloon Fiesta and the following year for Courtnee's birthday! I was lucky to have her as a teammate but I'm more lucky to call her a good friend.
Groomsman
I remember being in Kansas and our coach was recruiting players from my Junior College. I reached out to Pablo and asked him who was still there as we desperately needed some more talent on our squad. He then said STEVEN! Steven then came to Kansas on a recruit trip and instantly we clicked. It seemed like we had been friends forever. We had a lot of things in common and simply kept connecting the more we spoke. When Steven stepped on the field for our first day of training I and I witnessed him play, I was in aw. I knew Steven and I were going to have a blast in school together which we did. That night during our recruit party everyone learned Steven was a down ass foo! He had our backs and barely knew us. I could go on about this guy but everyone knows Steven is a real one!
Pastor
I was 16 years old at a new church with my mom. I remember being unenthusiastic to attend. However, I wasn't prepared for what was going to happen walking through those doors. I remember walking into a very small open floor with chairs and small stage set up. I was wondering is this really the church? Once Pastor Juarez took the stage and began to speak, I was instantly moved by his words. I never had felt such a feeling before. Meeting Pastor Juarez has been a blessing to my family. I have always been inspired by his words, his character, and his compassion for everyone. He truly is an amazing human being and I am immensely honored that he will be marrying us.
