It all started, as many great relationships have, at a Cottage Sunday Funday. Drew was wearing a jersey from his middle school rec football All-Star team with “Ellis” displayed prominently on his back. Sam came up to Drew with the age-old pick-up line of, “Hey, that’s my last name.” Thankfully, and to the surprise of many people, they were not actually related and two years later, they started dating. Fast forward 9 more years and they got engaged – as Sam’s brother Jordan said when Drew told him he was proposing - “finally.” In between, they got to experience the magic of Princeton, countless trips to Philadelphia to see Sam’s dogs (check out the photos tab), basically every noteworthy pizza/donut/babka place in NYC, at least two real vacations (including when they recently went to France) and, most importantly, falling even more in love with each other. Now, they are excited to welcome family and friends to Philadelphia, the city of Brotherly Love (again, they are not related) to celebrate their wedding.
